1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy describes how the Cabe mobile app (the "App", "we") processes user information. The App is available on the App Store and Google Play (package id com.ecab.cabe).

By installing and using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the App.

2. What data we process

The App is designed on a "data stays on the device" principle. We do not create an account for you, do not require registration, and do not collect personal data (name, email, phone) to run the core features.

2.1. Data stored only on your device

Core data is stored locally on your device. When you use AI features, the data you select may be transmitted to fulfil your request, as explained below:

  • Stats and results of games and tests (reaction, memory, math, speed reading, etc.);
  • Workout, morning-exercise and training data;
  • Habits, tasks, goals and plans;
  • Finance tracker records;
  • Sleep diary and breathing-practice data;
  • Settings, progress and achievements.

This data is deleted when you clear data in the App or uninstall it from your device.

2.2. Data transmitted when using certain features

Some features work online, and for them the text you enter is sent to third-party services:

  • AI features (AI psychologist, AI friend, dream analysis, self-analysis, English conversation and voice practice): the text or transcript of your speech is sent to the AI provider to generate a response;
  • Word and phrase translation: the word or phrase you translate is sent to the translation service.

We do not link this data to your identity. Cabe does not persist the request text on its server. To recover a paid analysis after a connection failure, its result is temporarily cached in private server storage. The recovery window is 24 hours; expired result text is cleared on the next request to the service. Purchase and consumption records are kept separately from the text.

3. Sharing data with third parties

To run its online features, the App uses the following third-party services. Data sent to them is processed under their own privacy policies:

AI and translation features transmit the information needed to fulfil your request. We do not sell your data. App events are shared with Meta for advertising measurement as described in section 8; diary contents and finance-tracker records are not shared for advertising.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

The App offers a Premium subscription, a one-time full-access purchase and AI-analysis packs. All payments are processed by the app stores:

  • Google Play Billing — for Android devices;
  • Apple App Store (In-App Purchase) — for iOS devices.

Bank-card information is processed directly by Google or Apple; we do not receive card numbers. To verify and restore purchases, the App sends our server the product identifier, transaction identifier or store purchase token/receipt, and a random installation identifier. The server verifies purchases with Apple or Google and records purchase status and grants to maintain access and prevent duplicate delivery. You can manage and cancel your subscription in Google Play or App Store settings.

5. App permissions

  • Internet access — for AI features, translation and purchases;
  • Notifications — for workout and habit reminders (can be turned off in your device settings);
  • Billing — to process subscriptions and purchases;
  • Microphone — only if you use voice practice; audio is used for speech recognition within that feature.

6. Data storage and deletion

Core data is stored locally on your device for as long as the App is installed. At any time you can:

  • clear the data in the App settings;
  • uninstall the App — local data is deleted along with it.

Deleting core local data does not require registration or contacting us. The server keeps the minimum purchase and grant records needed to verify access and prevent duplicate processing. To request deletion of server-processed data, contact us using section 12. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription or delete server purchase records. Third-party providers determine their own retention periods.

7. Security

Data is transmitted to third-party services over the secure HTTPS protocol (encryption in transit). Nevertheless, no method of transmitting data over the internet is absolutely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

8. Advertising and analytics

The App does not display advertisements, but uses the Meta SDK to measure Cabe advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Meta receives app installation and launch events, purchases, subscription starts and trial starts, along with technical app and device information. Advertising identifiers are used within operating-system permissions. On iOS, you can decline the App Tracking Transparency request and continue using the core features. We do not send diary text, finance-tracker records, health data or bank-card numbers to Meta. Learn more in the Meta Privacy Policy.

9. Children

The App is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children's data. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will take the necessary steps.

10. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to its processing. Since most data is stored locally, you manage it directly on your device. For any other matters, contact us using the details below.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at cabe.pw/privacy-policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the document.
